October 2007 - ROCK-tober with Gonzalo and Monica Huggett, appearing with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra in the San Francisco Bay Area. The San Francisco Classical Voice can't get enough!

July 2001 - Gonzalo X. Ruiz performs with Seattle Baroque Orchestra, where the Seattle Post Intelligencer praises his playing: "Ruiz's ornaments and runs rippled at breathtaking speed, yet with every note clear..."

December 1998 - Handel Oboe Sonatas brings material never recorded on oboe to a fresh light in this Double Reed review that praises the virtuosity of Mr. Ruiz's incomparable playing.
